About the role:

The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Finance Manager with key financial reporting, strategic finance, and carbon operations processes - to enable growth within CHOOOSE’s Finance and Operations team.

Responsibilities:

Prepare baseline financial budgets, models, and assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting and planning to senior management and investors
Develop, maintain, and analyze various reports and key performance metrics to help drive strategic growth decisions and create operational efficiencies
Assist with cash management and working capital processes and procedures; help manage global banking relationships
Help evaluate and implement new internal accounting system; assist with accounting processes and annual financial audits
Collaborate with Business Development and Implementation teams to support revenue forecasting and pipeline analyses
Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelors degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, or similar
2+ years of experience in finance, markets, treasury, accounting, financial consulting, or investment banking
Strong analytical and reporting skills; advanced in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
Experience in Power BI is an advantage
Working knowledge of Norwegian accounting principles, financial statements and other core financial concepts
Detail-oriented, highly organized, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
Self-driven and motivated to learn and grow
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Fluency in English
Experience working in or knowledge of carbon or commodities markets a plus
